Torque Rod Replacement - Endgate
Removal Procedure
1. Swing open the end gate.
2. Remove the bolts retaining the torque rod to the end gate.
3. Remove the torque rod from the end gate and hinge assembly.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the torque rod to the end gate and hinge assembly.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
2. Install the bolts retaining the torque rod to the end gate.
Tighten the torque rod bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
3. Close the end gate.
