Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) Sensor Replacement

Removal Procedure
1. Disconnect the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor electrical connector.
2. Lift up on the bracket (1) and slide off of the intake manifold pin (2).






3. Lift up and remove the MAP sensor from the intake manifold.

Installation Procedure

IMPORTANT: Lightly coat the MAP sensor seal with clean engine oil before installing the sensor.

1. Install the MAP sensor by pushing the sensor into the upper intake manifold.






2. Install the bracket (1) onto the intake manifold pin (2) and slide the bracket over the sensor and push down to lock the bracket in place.
3. Connect the MAP sensor electrical connector.
