Diagnostic Information: Checking Refrigerant System with Manifold Gauge

Requirements:
- Ambient temperature: approx. 30 to 35°C (86 to 95°F)
- Engine revolution: approx. 1,500 r/min
- Air conditioner switch: "ON"
- Blower motor: "HIGH"
- Temperature control lever: "MAX COOL"
- Close all doors
- Internal circulation

Normal pressure (reference): kPa (psi):
- Low pressure end: approx. 127 (18) to 245 (35)
- High pressure end: approx. 1373 (199) to 1667 (242)

Manifold gauge connection:
- Low pressure hose (LOW end): inlet
- High pressure hose (HIGH end): outlet

HFC-134a is employed in the air conditioning system of this vehicle. When checking the air conditioning system, therefore, make sure to use air conditioner servicing tools, such as manifold gauge and charging hose, that are intended for use with HFC-134a.
