Installation


1. Install the compressor.
- Tighten the bolts of the compressor to the specified torque.







2. Install the high and low pressure hoses.
- Do not reuse O-rings. Make sure to replace them with new ones.
- Always apply a layer of compressor oil to the new O-rings before connecting the hose.
- Tighten the bolts of the high and low pressure hoses to the specified torque.







3. Using a socket wrench, rotate the automatic tensioner clockwise by applying torque to the tensioner, then route the drive belt.
4. Using a socket wrench, rotate the automatic tensioner clockwise by applying to the tensioner, the route the drive belt.

New Compressor Installation

The new compressor is filled with 230 cc (7.78 FL.OZ) of oil, perform the following steps;
5. Gently release nitrogen gas from the new compressor by loosing the compressor service plug fixing bolt.
- Take care not to let the compressor oil flow out.
- Inspect O-rings and replace if necessary.

6. Turn the compressor several time by hand to prevent any liquid compression.
7. When installing on a new system, the compressor should be installed as it is. When installing on a used system, the compressor should be installed after adjusting the amount of compressor oil.
