Power Locks: Service and Repair

DOOR LOCK SOLENOID

1. Remove door trim panel.
2. Close window and remove tape securing harness to door rail.
3. Disconnect solenoid harness from door harness.
4. Remove two screws securing lock solenoid to bracket on inner door rail and release linkage piece from unit.
5. Remove solenoid from door.
6. Remove two screws securing solenoid to mounting bracket and remove solenoid.
7. Fit new solenoid to bracket and refit to door.
8. Adjust solenoid position for correct operation. Refer to ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURES.
