Timing Cover: Service and Repair

Remove engine and transmission assembly from vehicle.

Remove cylinder head and
oil pan assembly.

Remove water pump and crankcase breather.

Remove
crankshaft vibration damper, cone and Woodruff key.

Remove bolts,
timing chain cover, O-ring and gasket.

Reverse procedure to install. Clean mating surfaces, then install a new O-ring and gasket.
