Removal
1. Open the bonnet and disconnect the battery earth lead.





2. Loosen the compressor drive belt trunnion securing bolt (1).
3. Loosen the upper drive belt adjusting nut (2).
4. Loosen the adjusting rod pivot bolt (3).
5. From below loosen the compressor front and rear pivot bolts.
6. From above adjust the compressor towards the engine.
7. Displace and remove the drive belt (4).

NOTE: When fitting the drive belt do not fully tighten the compressor securing bolts until the drive belt is adjusted to the correct belt tension of 3.3kg to give a deflection of 4.4mm when applied at the mid-point of the belt.
