Fuel Filter: Description and Operation
The
Fuel Filter, located in the right front corner of the luggage compartment, is of the paper element type. It consists of a large, steel canister enclosing a paper filtering element. The filter traps dirt, rust, and other harmful particles before they can reach any critical parts of the injection system. It is not reusable and is meant to be replaced at regular intervals according to the
maintenance schedule or as conditions require.
