PRELIMINARY INSTRUCTIONS

PROCEDURE
1. Connect fuel pressure gauge.
a. Clamp off fuel feed pipe near to cold start injector (use brake hose clamp or similar equipment).
b. Disconnect fuel pipe from injector, collecting any spilt fuel.
c. Use 'T' piece and short pipe to connect pressure gauge between feed pipe and cold start injector.
d. Remove clamp and check for fuel leaks.

2. Disconnect vehicle harness 35-way multiplug from the Electronic Control Unit, (ECU).

3. Interconnect the EPITEST 25/35-way and 35-way adaptors.

4. Connect the vehicle harness 35-way multiplug to the EPITEST 35-way adaptor.

5. Disconnect the thermotime switch.

6. Set EPITEST switches (see Test Chart), switch on the ignition and commence test sequence.

Note: 1. Always ensure the polarity switch is set to the correct position.
