Distributor Advance Unit: Service and Repair
Distributor:
1.
Remove
distributor.
2.
Remove
ignition rotor and flash shield.
3.
Remove screws securing vacuum unit to distributor housing.
4.
Disconnect vacuum unit linkage from pick-up mounting plate and withdraw unit.
5.
Reverse steps 1 - 4 to refit.
6.
Reset
ignition timing. Refer to
Distributor / Adjustments / Ignition Timing.
