Ignition Timing: Adjustments
1.
Switch
OFF ignition.
2.
Disconnect and plug vacuum hose to
distributor.
3.
Connect timing light to front spark plug wire (# 6).
4.
Start engine.
5.
Timing should be:
14° BTDC at idle
6.
Loosen
distributor clamp and adjust if necessary.
7.
Stop engine and reconnect vacuum hose.
