TORQUE TO PREVENT LEAKAGE
Investigations into oil loss from the oil pressure transmitter indicates that in the majority of cases, the leak is via the sealing washer. To ensure that the washer seals correctly, the tightening torque has been increased to 15-20 ft.lbs.
