Removal and Installation

Lambda (Oxygen) Sensor:

1. Unplug sensor connectors.
2. Unscrew sensor from downpipe and remove.
3. Check threads in downpipe and ensure that they are in good condition before attempting to install a new sensor.
4. Carefully coat threads of new sensor with anti-seize compound. Do not contaminate sensor louvered end.
5. Screw sensor into downpipe and torque to 36 - 44 ftlb (50 - 60 Nm).
6. Plug in electrical connectors.
