KEY POINTS: REVISED ECU
Beginning with 1989 M.Y. XJ6 3.6 vehicles, the exhaust air injection system has been deleted. In conjunction with this change, a revised engine management ECU (DBC 3794) has been introduced. This ECU is unique to 1989 M.Y. vehicles and must not be used as a replacement for 1988 M.Y. vehicles (due to the deletion of the air pump control circuitry).


NOTE: In addition to it's part number, ECU DBC 3794 can be identified by a brown part number label.
