PCV Orifice: Service and Repair

NOTE: THIS OPERATION MUST BE CARRIED OUT ON A COOL OR COLD ENGINE.

1. Release the pressure from the cooling system by removing and replacing the radiator cap.
2. Loosen the control housing to breather hose clamp, Fig. 13 and remove hose.
3. Remove the housing bolts, move the housing to a location where the remaining hose clamps are accessible, and remove remaining hoses from housing, routing the hoses to minimize coolant loss. Remove housing from vehicle.
4. Clean all gasket surfaces.
5. Reverse procedure to install housing, checking coolant level when done.
