Spare Tire: Service and Repair

1. Raise and support vehicle.
2. Remove wheel and disconnect brake pad wear sensor.
3. Remove lower guide pin bolt from caliper. Pivot caliper upwards to gain access to brake pads.
4. Remove brake pads and upper guide pin bolt.
5. Reposition caliper for access to steering knuckle securing bolts. Cut and remove lockwire.
6. Loosen knuckle securing bolts and remove knuckle.
7. Remove disc securing screw and remove disc.
8. Remove grease cap, cotter pin and bearing cover.
9. Remove hub nut and washer.
10. Remove hub assembly from vehicle.
11. Reverse procedure to install.
