Radiator Cooling Fan Temperature Sensor / Switch: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Raise and support front of vehicle, then drain cooling system.
3. On 4.0L/6-243 models, remove air cleaner assembly for access to thermostatic switch.
4. On all models, disconnect thermostatic switch electrical connector and remove thermostatic switch.
5. Reverse procedure to install.
