The internal bore of Service Tool JD 168 (which is part of kit JD 169/K) is not deep enough to allow correct use of the tool without risking A/C compressor seal damage.

A new compressor seal remover/replacer tool JD 168/M is now available and will be shipped to dealers free of charge. JD 168/M replaces JD 168 and is only supplied as part of JD 169/K - A/C Compressor Kit.

Use Service Tool JD 168/M as detailed in the Sedan Range Repair Manual, Section 82.00.00.
