Accelerator Pedal: Service and Repair

Throttle Pedal:

1. Move carpet from around throttle pedal.
2. Remove cotter pin and clevis pin.
3. Disconnect throttle cable from pedal.
4. Remove fasteners securing mounting bracket to body.
5. Remove pedal assembly from vehicle.
6. Remove "C" clips from pivot. Rotate and remove pivot bushings.
7. Remove pedal from mounting bracket.
8. Remove spring and rubber stop from pedal.
9. Reverse steps to refit.
