Seat Belt Guide Track: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
Remove the B post upper trim pad.

Remove the cantrail crash roll.

Remove the guide rail securing screws and dock assembly securing bolts. Displace the B post upper trim pad mounting bracket.

Fig. 1:

Displace and remove the guide rail from the dock assembly (Fig 1).

Carefully remove the seal from the guide rail.


INSTALLATION
Fit and align the seal to the new guide rail.

Position the guide rail to the dock assembly.

Position the runner tongue into the guide rail.

Fully seat the guide rail into the dock assembly.

Fit the guide rail to the cantrail, fit but do not fully tighten the securing screws.

Fit and align the mounting bracket to the dock assembly, fit and tighten the securing bolts.

Fully tighten the guide rail screws. Refit the cantrail crash roll and upper trim pad.
