Lower Control Arm


1. Raise and support front of vehicle, then remove wheel.
2. Remove coil spring as described under COIL SPRING.
3. Disconnect brake pad wear sensor and remove lower ball joint.
4. Remove fulcrum shaft nut and lower shock absorber mounting nut/bolts.
5. Lower control arm/knuckle assembly and partially remove fulcrum bolt to remove front control arm.
6. Remove serrated washer, then move steering rack to remove fulcrum bolt and rear control arm/knuckle assembly.
7. Remove remaining serrated washer.
8. Reverse procedure to install. Tighten to specifications and check front wheel alignment.
