Valve Body: Service and Repair

1. Raise and support vehicle with suitable jacks.
2. Drain transmission fluid, then disconnect dipstick tube from pan.
3. Remove rotary switch protection cover and fluid pan.
4. Remove filter, then disconnect speed sensor harness from valve body.
5. Remove sensor retaining clip securing bolts, then sensor.
6. Disconnect rotary switch harness multi-plug, then remove switch harness bolt.
7. Remove valve body screws and lower valve. Ensure multi-plug socket is removed from casing.
8. Reverse procedure to install, using a new O-ring. Torque bolts to 11 ft. lbs.
