Cruise Control Servo: Service and Repair

Replacement
- Open the bonnet and fit wing protection.
- Remove the securing nut from the operating rod to actuator pivot (1).
- Remove the operating rod pivot pin and bush.
- Reposition the rod from the actuator.
- Disconnect the vacuum hose (2) from the front of the throttle actuator.
- Remove the actuator to mounting bracket securing nut (3).
- Displace and remove the actuator (4).
- Fit and align the replacement actuator assembly to the mounting bracket.
- Fit and tighten securing nut.
- Connect vacuum hose to the front of the actuator.
- Reconnect the actuator linkage, insert and secure the pivot pin.
- Remove wing protection and close bonnet.
