Sunroof / Moonroof: Locations

Closure Switches:

Image shows all closure switches located inside the vehicles interior.

The momentary action trunk release inhibit (valet) switch, installed inside the center cubby box by fixing screws, inhibits the use of the trunk release switch located on the left-hand side fascia switch pack assembly.

Apart for the switch dolly, the trunk release switch is not renewable.

The front and rear door switch assemblies, am to be renewed by disconnecting the battery, by removing the switch assembly end trims, the coin boxes (where installed) and the veneer panels secured using single retaining screws.

The switches for operating the universal garage door opener module (UGDO) and the sun roof are installed to roof console assembly held in position by two clips located at the windscreen end of the assembly and by a 1/4 turn fastener which can be seen on opening the sunglasses holder.

Prior to removing any component ensure that electrical power to the roof console assembly is isolated.
