Remove & Refit
- Remove engine cover.
- Disconnect on plug coil multi-plug.
- Disconnect starter motor link lead multi-plug.
- Disconnect down stream oxygen sensor harness multi-plugs.
- Disconnect water temperature thermistor harness multi-plug.
- Disconnect coolant temperature sensor multi-plug.
- Disconnect engine position sensor harness plug.
- Disconnect compressor clutch harness multi-plug.
- Disconnect crankshaft sensor harness multi-plug.
- Disconnect air flow meter harness multi-plug.
- Disconnect idle speed actuator harness multi-plug.
- Disconnect EGR sensor harness multi-plug.
- Disconnect EGR valve harness multi-plug.
- Disconnect air temperature thermistor.
- Disconnect throttle potentiometer harness multi-plug.
- Disconnect rear knock sensor harness multi-plug.
- Disconnect engine oil transmitter multi-plug.
- Disconnect air pump harness multi-plug.
- Disconnect front knock sensor harness multi-plug.
- Remove left-hand headlamp and relay cover(s).
- Remove aircleaner assembly.
- Disconnect harness to side harness multi-plug.
- Disconnect purge valve harness multi-plug.
- Remove injector harness multi-plugs.
- Disconnect radiator pressure switch harness multi-plug.
- Disconnect trinary pressure switch harness multi-plug.
- Disconnect upstream oxygen sensors (NAS markets only).
- Remove right-hand headlamp and relay cover(s).
- Disconnect right-hand front relay bases from brackets and remove air con. clutch, air pump and Engine Management System control relays.
- Disconnect side harness multi-plugs.
- Disconnect breather relay from mounting base.
- Remove wiper blade, plenum chamber grill and disconnect washer jet supply hose.
- Disconnect washer jet multi-plugs
- Disconnect brake signal harness multi-plug.
- Remove passenger side under scuttle pad and 'A' Post lower trim pad.
- Disconnect ECM multi-plugs.
- Disconnect fuel injection harness to console harness multi-plugs.
- Remove harness assembly and refit repaired or new harness in revers order removal procedures.
