L4 Check Sensor Range

L4 CHECK SENSOR RANGE

NOTE:
^ It is advisable to test over at least three temperatures i.e. ambient, warm & hot.
^ With the fluid pan removed, ensure that there is NOT a fault in the EM046 to sensor internal harness.





1. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
2. Disconnect the harness connector.
3. Reconnect EM046.
4. Measure the resistance between EM007/021 and EM007/022.
- Temperature / resistance relationship OK?
Yes --> GO to [L5] L5 End
No --> Renew temperature sensor (transmission internal harness)
