Drive Belt: Service and Repair
Accessory Drive Belt - Vehicles Without: SuperchargerRemoval
1. Remove the cover and disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. WARNING: Do not work on or under a vehicle supported only by a jack. Always support the vehicle on safety stands.
Raise and support the vehicle.
3. Remove the engine cover.
4. Remove the air deflector.
5. Remove the air intake duct.
> Remove the bolt.
> Release the 2 clips.
6. Release the accessory drive belt.
> Rotate the accessory drive belt tensioner counter-clockwise, using a 3/8" drive wrench.
7. NOTE: Note the fitted position.
Remove the accessory drive belt.
Installation
1. Install the accessory drive belt.
2. Install the air intake duct.
> Tighten the clips.
> Tighten the bolt to 10 Nm (7 lb.ft).
3. Install the air deflector.
4. Install the engine cover.
5. Connect the battery ground cable and install the cover.
