PINPOINT TEST G239843p20 : CHECK THE SUPPLIES AND GROUNDS TO THE PARKING AID CONTROL MODULE (PACM)

G239843t90 : CHECK THE IGNITION SUPPLY TO THE PACM
1. Disconnect the PACM electrical connector, CR52.
2. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
3. Measure the voltage between CR52, pin 01 (WR) and GROUND.

- Is the voltage less than 10 volts?

-> YES
REPAIR the circuit between the PACM and battery. This circuit includes the primary junction box (fuse 32) and the ignition relay. TEST the system for normal operation.

-> NO
GO to Pinpoint Test G239843t91.

G239843t91 : CHECK THE GROUND TO THE PACM
1. Measure the resistance between CR52, pin 03 (B) and GROUND.

- Is the resistance greater than 5 ohms?

-> YES
REPAIR the high resistance circuit. TEST the system for normal operation.

-> NO
CHECK for DTCs indicating a network or module fault. REFER to the DTC index.
