Removal

WARNING: Do not work on or under a vehicle supported only by a jack. Always support the vehicle on safety stands.
Raise and support the vehicle.
2 Remove the air deflector. For additional information, refer to Air Deflector




3 Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) electrical connector.

CAUTION: Make sure the H02S wiring harness is not twisted more than 180 degrees and is not in contact with either the exhaust or driveshaft.
Remove the HO2S.
- Using the Snap-on tool S6176, remove the HO2S.

Installation

WARNING: Make sure the H02S wiring harness is not twisted more than 180 degrees and is not in contact with the exhaust.
Install is the reverse of removal.
- Tighten to 45 Nm.
