Removal
1 Remove the intake air resonator. For additional information, refer to Intake Air Resonator Service and Repair




2 Release the engine wiring harness.
- Remove the 2 bolts.




3 Disconnect the CMP sensor electrical connector.
- Slide the red connector latch to one side.




4 Release the CMP sensor electrical connector.
- Release the clip.




5 Remove the CMP sensor.
- Remove the Torx bolt.
- Remove and discard the O-ring seal.

Installation
1 Install the CMP sensor.
- Clean the components.
- Install a new O-ring seal.
- Tighten the Torx bolt to 7 Nm (5 lb.ft).
- Connect and secure the electrical connector.
2 Attach the engine wiring harness.
- Tighten the bolts to 10 Nm (7 lb.ft).
3 Install the intake air resonator. For additional information, refer to Intake Air Resonator Service and Repair
