Manifold Pressure/Vacuum Sensor: Service and Repair

Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) Sensor

Removal
1 Remove the engine cover. For additional information, refer to Engine Cover Service and Repair
2 Remove the intake air resonator. For additional information, refer to Intake Air Resonator Service and Repair
3 Disconnect the MAP sensor electrical connector.




4 Remove the MAP sensor.
- Remove the 2 Torx screws.
- Remove and discard the O-ring seal.

Installation
1 Install the MAP sensor.
- Clean the component mating faces.
- Install a new O-ring seal.
- Tighten the Torx screws.
- Connect the electrical connector.
2 Install the intake air resonator. For additional information, refer to Intake Air Resonator Service and Repair
3 Install the engine cover. For additional information, refer to Engine Cover Service and Repair
