Pedestrian Protection Accelerometer

Removal
1 Remove the radiator splash shield. For additional information, refer to Radiator Splash Shield Radiator Splash Shield




2 Remove the front bumper air ducting.
- Remove the 7 clips.
- Release the 4 clips.




3 Remove the pedestrian protection accelerometer.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Remove the 2 bolts.

Installation
1 Install the pedestrian protection accelerometer.
- Tighten the 6 bolts to 10 Nm (7 lb.ft).
- Connect the electrical connector.
2 Install the front bumper air ducting.
- Secure with the clips.
3 Install the radiator splash shield. For additional information, refer to Radiator Splash Shield Radiator Splash Shield
