Procedure 16 - Inspect/Replace Audio Unit Amplifier, Install Water Shedder
REPAIR PROCEDURE 16: V00477 - V043691. Refer to Workshop Manual section 415-01 and remove the Audio Unit Amplifier.
2. Perform a luggage compartment water test.
^ If water ingress is present, refer to Technical Bulletin JTB00210, Water Ingress via the 'D' Pillar, to repair as necessary. To be carried out as a separate Warranty claim.
NOTE:
Water ingress repairs must be carried out as a separate Warranty claim.
3. Inspect the amplifier for signs of water ingress (water stains, etc.)
^ If signs of water ingress are present, replace the Audio Unit Amplifier and program with IDS.
^ If no sign of water ingress is present, install the original Audio Unit Amplifier.
4. Install an Audio Unit Amplifier water shedder.
5. Continue to next appropriate Repair Procedure.
