Lower Ball Joint Replacement

Fig. 4 Removing Lower Ball Joint:

1. Remove steering knuckle as previously outlined.
2. Position receiver tool J-34503-1 over ball joint stud and adapter tool J-34503-3 onto C-clamp as shown.
3. Tighten clamp and press ball joint from steering knuckle.
4. To install, place tool J-34503-4 over replacement ball joint and receiver tool J-34503-2 onto C-clamp. Position tool against yoke shoulder, then tighten clamp and press ball joint into knuckle.
5. Install steering knuckle.
