Without Computer Control

NOTE: The midpoint of the ranges given is the preferred setting.

- Disconnect decel valve and canister purge hoses. Do not allow vehicle to idle for more than three minutes.

With A/C
- With A/C OFF, adjust idle speed to specification, turn A/C ON and adjust idle speed-up to specification.

Without A/C
- Adjust idle speed to specification, disconnect solenoid electrical lead and set idle shutdown speed.

Fast Idle
- Disconnect and plug EGR vacuum hose.
