Blower Motor: Service and Repair

GRAND WAGONEER, J-10 & 20 TRUCK & 1980-83 CHEROKEE & WAGONEER

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove blower motor to housing retaining screws, then the blower motor.
3. Reverse procedure to install.

WITH AIR CONDITIONING

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove screws retaining evaporator assembly to instrument panel, then lower evaporator housing to gain access to blower motor attaching screws.
3. Disconnect blower motor electrical connector.
4. Remove blower motor retaining screws, then the blower motor.
5. Reverse procedure to install.
