Without Computer Control

NOTE: The midpoint of the ranges given is the preferred setting.

1. Disconnect decel valve and canister purge hoses. Do not allow vehicle to idle for more than three minutes.
2. Disconnect and plug solenoid vacuum line.
3. Disconnect solenoid electrical lead.
4. Adjust idle speed.
5. Apply vacuum to solenoid and set speed to specification.
6. Apply battery voltage to solenoid and turn A/C on.
7. Set speed-up to specification.
8. To set fast idle, disconnect and plug EGR vacuum hose.
