MODELS LESS A/C

1. Remove both windshield wiper arms, then remove pivot shaft nuts, washers and gaskets.
2. Disconnect drive arm from wiper motor crank.
3. Disconnect components as necessary to allow for removal of windshield wiper transmission with minimum interference.
4. Remove windshield wiper transmission from vehicle.
5. Reverse procedure to install.

MODELS WITH A/C

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove wiper arms, then remove pivot shaft nuts, washers and gaskets.
3. Remove instrument cluster as describer under "Instrument Cluster, Replace."
4. Disconnect left hand defroster duct.
5. Disconnect drive arm from wiper motor crank.
6. Lower glove box assembly to gain access to linkage clip on right hand side, then remove clip.
7. Remove left hand pivot shaft body attaching screw, then remove windshield transmission through instrument cluster opening.
8. Reverse procedure to install.
