CTO VALVE, REPLACE
4-151, 6-258 & V8-360
1. Drain a sufficient amount of coolant from radiator to bring fluid level below CTO valve.
2. Identify and tag CTO valve vacuum hoses and disconnect hoses from valve.
3. Place a suitable drain pan directly below CTO valve and remove valve from thermostat housing.
4. Reverse procedure to install.

1. Drain coolant from radiator.
2. On V8 engines, remove air cleaner assembly.
3. Identify and tag vacuum hoses and disconnect from valve.
4. On six cylinder engines, place a suitable drain pan directly beneath CTO valve.
5. Remove valve from intake manifold or engine block on six cylinder engines, or from thermostat housing or intake manifold on V8 engines.
6. Reverse procedure to install.
NON-LINEAR VACUUM REGULATOR (NLVR) VALVE, REPLACE

1. Identify and tag vacuum hoses and disconnect from valve.
2. Remove valve.
3. Reverse procedure to install.
