1983-1984 PHASE-IN PAINT COLORS
Information
As part of the 1983 phase-out/1984 phase-in program, four new 1984 exterior paint colors have been introduced on 1983 Jeep models.
The Jeep paint codes and the Ditzler, Dupont, Sherwin Williams code numbers and intermix formulas are provided in the following charts.
NOTE: Jeep paint codes are imprinted on the Vehicle Identification plate.
NOTE: The Ditzler and Dupont formulas for Chestnut Brown Metallic, Ice Blue Metallic and Silver Metallic may not match factory color exactly and are more suitable for complete refinish operations. The factory package paints are recommended for spot painting.
