Fluid - M/T: Service and Repair
To check the transmission fluid level, remove the fill plug from the right side of the transmission case. When refilling or adding lubricant to the transmission, fill the transmission until the lubricant level is at the lower edge of the fill plug hole only. The lubricant capacity for the T-176 transmission model is
1.7 liters (3.5 pints).
