Coolant Temperature Sensor/Switch (For Computer): Service and Repair
To check sensor for proper operation, measure resistance across the terminals. At 59° F resistance should be 4114-4743 ohms. If not, replacement is necessary. To replace the sensor, proceed as follows:
1. Disconnect electrical connector and remove sensor.
2. Reverse procedure to install. Torque sensor to 72 inch lbs.
