B. Replace Oxygen Sensor

WARNING:
Exhaust manifold becomes very hot during engine operation. Allow engine to cool before removing oxygen sensor.

1. Disconnect the oxygen sensor electrical connector.

2. Remove oxygen sensor using a crowfoot wrench.

3. Clean exhaust manifold threads using a thread chaser.

NOTE:
Do not use solvents or lubricants on threads.

4. Install oxygen sensor (PN C3905622). Tighten to 22 ft-lbs (30 Nm).

5. Connect oxygen sensor connector.

6. Lower vehicle.
