Control Module HVAC: Testing and Inspection

1. Disconnect the control module from the A/C harness.

A/C Circuit Tester:

2. Connect tester (AMGN 19-010) to the control module.
3. Connect the A/C harness to the tester.
4. Turn ignition switch ON, turn A/C system ON, and set the temperature control lever to the cold position.
5. Turn the tester knob to the desired test position.
6. Observe the tester indicator light. The light should illuminate in all tester switch positions.
- If the indicator light illuminates correctly, go to step 7.
- If the indicator light fails in one or more switch position, test the control module according to the diagnostic chart.

A/C Circuit Testing:

7. Disconnect the tester and reconnect the wiring harness to the control module. Recheck the system for proper operation.
