Safety Recall # 271T -- Windshield Frame and Wipers Labor Operation Time Revision

MODELS:
All 1987 and 1988 Jeep Wranglers

The Labor Operation Time Allowance for the subject recall covering windshield frame replacement has been revised to add basic paint preparation time and associated material allowance.

The revised Labor Operation is as follows:

Material Allowance, Labor Operation 23271283 only: $20.37 Include in your claim.

When replacing the windshield frame, add the cost of the parts and applicable dealer allowance to your claim.

Be sure to cross out the previous information for frame replacement in the Completion Reporting and Reimbursement section of the dealer notification letter for this recall, dated April, 1989.

Note:
The time allowance for labor operation 23271282 (install windshield frame reinforcement and replace wiper linkage) is unchanged.
