Knock Sensor: Service and Repair
Knock Sensor:
REMOVAL 1.
Raise and support the vehicle.
2.
Disconnect the
knock sensor wire connector, and remove the knock sensor.
INSTALLATION 1.
Install
knock sensor and torque to exactly 10 Nm (89 lbs.in.).
NOTE: Knock sensor torque is critical to the proper operation of the knock sensor, and must be correct.
2.
Connect sensor wire, and lower vehicle.
