Main Relay (Computer/Fuel System): Description and Operation

Relay Cluster Location -- On Right Front Wheel Well:

The ECU controls when voltage is allowed to flow to the B+ Latch Relay. This relay is energized for approximately 3 to 5 seconds after the engine has been shut off. It allows current to flow to the Idle Speed Stepper Motor after the engine has been shut off. This current extends the stepper motor to a preset position for the next start-up.
