Ignition Control Module: Service and Repair

Ignition Control Module:

REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. Disconnect negative battery terminal.
2. Disconnect Electronic Ignition Control Unit (EICU) electrical connectors by pulling them straight apart. Do not use a screwdriver to pry them apart as damage may occur.
3. Remove control unit mounting screws and remove unit.
4. Install control unit, connect electrical connections, connect negative battery terminal, and test operation.
