Receiver Dryer: Service and Repair

Receiver/Dryer (2.5L):

1. Drain the engine coolent.
2. Remove the radiator hoses and disconnect the fan shroud.
3. Disconnect the automatic transmission cooler lines (if equipped).
4. Discharge the A/C system.
5. Disconnect the A/C hoses from the condenser. Plug the fitting at the condenser and receiver/dryer to prevent moisture from entering the system.
6. Unplug the wiring harness from the low pressure switch.
7. Remove the radiator and condenser as an assembly.
8. Reverse procedure for installation.
9. Refill the engine coolent system.
10. Evacuate and recharge the A/C system.
