Throttle Position Sensor: Service and Repair

TPS Removal/Installation:

REMOVAL

1. Remove both upper and lower air inlet bonnets.
2. Remove the two (2) mounting screws, then remove the sensor from the throttle shaft lever.

INSTALLATION

1. Install the new TPS, making sure that the arm of the sensor is under the arm of the throttle valve shaft before the sensor is tightened down.
2. Tighten the two (2) mounting screws.
3. Adjust the TPS. Adjustments
4. Connect the upper and lower air inlet bonnets.
